“usabilitywise texts that are not justified tend to be easier to read.”
Dear Carsten,
Psychologicallywise I have to disagree. 😀
With justified texts the spaces within the same line always have the same distance, while distances between words over different lines are not the same. This helps the eye identify the “current line” better, making it not jump off the track that often. Based on the eyes’ habit of “Saccadensprünge” (sorry, don’t know the english word).
A text with ´justified alignment and proper sub-paragraph intending is perfect to read!

I love you for that remark!
Really!
I hate text that is not justified and my SO even goes as far as to refuse to read non-justified texts… If possible.
YOU ARE NOT ALONE

@Danyaell: Errrrr… Well, at least according to 1st Ed. Avatars do not accumulate any charges, as they don’t need them to perform their magick. Your Avatar skill is also not required to be your obsession skill!
They shold have sold it to Disastermachine Poductions instead… They made the germ,an version of The Last Exodus, have a running HP and… Hehehehe.. I know one of the guys responsible.
😉
As long as they don’t call it “Unbekannte Armeen”, hrrr hrrr hrrr.
😉
The previev mentions some bonus skill points on page 38.
Are these per Attribute, or in general?
You are in the wonderful situation of learning the game by playing it… Don’t spoil that!
Be prepared to experience utter freakness and that you will not understand all of it.
Just let go…
I wish I could play it this way, but I already know too much.

“…but a Plutomancer couldn’t roll their skill to invest well on the stock market because just being obsessed with money doesn’t mean that you know jack shit about economics…”
Depends on the way the player wants to play his plutomancer: If he wants to play stockmarket-broker style, I would allow it, if he plays the money saving grandma, I wouldn’t.
Remember: Firearms allows to fire a gun as well as knowing where to get one illegaly!
“At one library I have been to they have study cubicles where people can work. In one I found two books on the occolt and an encylopeida of inventions.”
Must have been a mechanomancer or a cliomancer 😉
Hmm… But IIRC cutting out a single eye counts for a major charge as well, so I would assume a single testicle would suffice…
And a man that sacrifices a testicle voluntarily already is a freak, not to mention the way it is done…
I would never go as far as to sacrifice both… Just can’t do it.
I totally agree on the pain issue, but am not sure about the blood loss thing. I mean: the penis basically is one big chunk of blood vessels… But the testes?
I am going to ask my ex-girlfriend who – as of now – is an MD… She should be able to clarify that with her anatomical knowledge.
As a side note: I once read a book on the torture exerted by the Nazis on the inmates of concentration camps. In one case they smashed a man’s testicles with a hammer. He survived to tell his story. And now consider that he did not get any medical treatment at all… No nails, but pretty close I would say.
