It always amazes me when I give out £3.33 change from a tenner or a twenty, and I am beginning to wonder if I am serving Plutomancers at my store as it is not that uncommon an occurrance…

Chess:
By assigning two opposing “Factions” within a city to the two colours and playing against yourself while spending two significant charges, you can work out which side will be victorious in whatever dispute that is currently causing them to be at odds with each other.
This can also work with Checkers

Funnily enough, Nokia Phones all come with a warning not to use mobile phones in fuel stations within their manuals.
Maybe they’re just erring on the

Taboo: You must have it with you and switched at all times
How does that sound?
Sir Cabhán.
Clue would be a neat way of finding out stuff
Kind of a form of divination to be used when trying to solve a murder – set up the game as usual while spending a significant charge, and the stuff in the black envelope should give you enough info to make an educated guess at who murdered whom and how / why.
Of course you would have to know of a murder first before you tried it.
BTW, we call it Cluedo over here in the UK. Dunno why though…

Summerland, Tir Nan Og, Eden, Paradise are just some I can think of.
Maybe future utopias could also be thought of – that big city in The Sandmen is a kind of utopia, but not my kind at least.

Another way to alter the ritual is to get a Get Out of Jail Free card from a set that was actually used in a prison library and was stolen by a prisoner just before he was due to be released.
This means that should an Urbanomancer ever find himself in jail without a GOOJF card, he could at least set himself up for next time he is sent down.
Anyway, I am glad others are getting ideas from this one.

Read Neverwhere.
Sorry, I couldn’t resist.
Read it, seen the six-part TV Series, still have the book, et al.
Yes, Neverwhere lends itself to UA fairly well despite it not being entirely anthrocentric. It also lends itself fairly well to changeling, btw…
I still think a UA UK web ring is the way to go. Now who knows how to set one up with a nice graphical links thingy to put on member sites?
Sir Cabhán.
Nah, it’s just sod’s law… 😉
One way to keep players on their toes is to make 80% of the weirdness you throw out at them red herrngs. Sod’s Law is a red herring and you create your own luck as well as your own desiny.
You could run a Murphy’s/Sod’s Law as a concept whereby the character using it can create their own luck bypassing off bad luck
Dunno what the taboo would be though.

Tinfoil hats act as amplifiers. Mis-information to the suspicious so that their minds may be more easily read is a tactic of the Illuminati…
Sir Cabhán. 😉
You got a URL to their web site voidstate? I would be inteested in finding out more about that mag.
Simon, my web URL is http://www.geocities.com/pbrennan42 and I have some of my rumours posted up there as web pages and as downloadable PDFs. Take a look…
Well I am definately interested in having a UAUK Web Ring, if anyone knows how to set one up with a nice graphic and stuff.

I wonder what would happen if someone just ripped up the painting and then burned it?
Malice Mavers the gothicky band from Japan should do the trick.
They do some really freaky stuff in their videos. Think scenes of 18th century decadence mixed with people puking blood and you’ve got it down to a tee. 😀
