It is very much the type of rpg where, if the rules dont cover something or it doesnt make sense, its better just to go with the flow and ignore the book if you so desire. its very much roleplaying over mechanics. and if you get really stuck tell the players that they suddenly wake up in a barn which is painted all over with pictures of winged cattle, they are tied to what looks like a clockwork ride-on lawnmower, and there is a note attached to it saying ‘first one to Paris gets to live’

Yeah folks are pretty friendly here.

I agree that its unlikely that any more sourcebooks will be coming out but it would be nice to see some UA asia action. the spiritual mythology fits nicely and the ronin are mentioned in UA as Masterless Men.

Red Dwarf sounds tricky, since outer space is a grey area in UA. But make it all a big illusion like in that squid episode maybe. note that there is a red dwarf roleplaying game on the shelves!

Doctor Who says cliomancy / mechanomancy to me. Or if you have read the rulebook then a character in it called The Comte De Saint-Germain is somewhat of a timelord esque universe janitor.

Ok I see where you are coming from, like a narco could make a significant work that he takes with no actual benefit except that it completes the proxy ritual, perhaps it was made using his proxy’s blood, favorite food, sweat etc

You cant get em anywhere in the uk! They are like gold dust. Ive seen UA and To Go on shelves, and then only in one roleplay shop. Its a crying shame. Someone should start slipping single pages of UA books into other roleplay books, or catalogues, or watever, just get everyone you know in the printing industry to start spreading it!

As for archetype i agree with you, which is why i have a little trouble with the MVP one. But i guess it links to all kinds of hero concepts.

In fact if they are going out of print and you dont expect to make any more dough… how about one huge sourcebook which contains everything sourcebookey that you have made so far, and leaves out the superceded content? Possibly with a section containing a variety of the things on this site? Printed in the fancy version 2 orange colour of course.

Yeah thats the cruz I think, giving control over to someone else. up to the gm i guess but that makes more sense to me. besides fleshworkers are awesome combat characters n wudnt be much use if they lost their cahrges after one hit.

you played half life 2? seen the manhacks? (if not they are little flying things, size of a pineapple. thye have a horizontal buzz saw which acts like a propellor so they can hover)

a handful of those will ruin your enemie’s day! rig it to drop a payload of soil on enemy urbano’s….
