IIRC, Jack Hawksmoor of the Authority (which I’ve only read a little bit of) can travel between cities by creating a special city-bubble which acts as an urban environment around him, thus sustaining him.
As far as limiting the rbanomancer’s power, maybe you could give each city a charge-cap, as in a maximum number of charges that can be obtained and held within that city, and require the urbanomancer to only use charges in the city where he gained them- he might have 5 minors and a sig in London, for example, but if he goes to Tokyo he’s only got the single minor he earned last time.
The Comte rose March 16, 2007. Details as to the world before are hazy at best. Certain nostalgic dukes who somehow managed to be “out of town” when the world ended continuously lament the newfound presence of the “cumbersome, clumsy pinkie”, longing for the good-ol’ days of elegant, four-fingered hands.
Here you go, two links from this very site: http://www.unknown-armies.com/content_comments.php?id=1788_0_3_0_C1

Enjoy!
There are likely a few in the “Dukes” section on this very site. You can pick One-Shots up as a download at RPGNow.com.
I don’t know the context in which it was used, but he also might have meant “stratosphere”, and just got mixed up.
Welcome to the community! You’ll find everyone here is pretty friendly and easy-going, so no need to worry about saying something wrong or insulting anyone. 🙂
As for your first question, I believe that there aren’t going to be anymore new sourcebooks or supplements for UA in the near future.
As for the second, I really can’t help. Of those all I’ve seen is Zim, and that was ages ago.
I think that would be great. I haven’t got access to any books other than the core rulebook, and I have to admit I’ve been jonesing for any more information that happens to be floating around about The Freak (I’ve got my own plans for it anyway, but I’d really like to see what can be done with such an eerie, compelling character).
My best guess as far as the MVP goes is that it’s a reinterpretation of the more Universal “Champion” archetype, or something similar.
In the end, I prefer to just go with whatever archetype makes for a good story, though my general rule is to have a nice mix of old archetypes (mother, warrior, etc…) with a few modern ones thrown in for spice (the superhero, the MVP, the beautiful conformist).
-This is more of an artifact or ritual than a duke, but when one of my best friends’ mother was a child in Sunday School, they used to keep a jar of pennies that the children would contribute to. Every penny they earned saved the soul of one Pagan Baby from burning for all eternity in hell.
-At my highschool there’s this guy named Younes who I think might be an adept, which is a shame because I resent the idea of someone as obnoxious as he is having magickal powers. He’s terribly creepy, which I learned when he first started rubbing his leg against mine while purring. Later on I heard him whispering into a fan, saying “I’m gonna rape yoooou… I’m gonna rape yooou Young Han (my name).” He’s so obnoxious that he’s repeatedly asked his family to let him return to France (where they live) and they’ve outright refused. And though he knows for a fact that people hate him, he continues to seek them out, almost yearning for their abuse. Sounds like a charging method to me.
Taboo: If you ever let someone modify your body, you lose all the charges you’re holding at that time.
