Guys, I was just having a think about Stoltze and Tynes putting together Break Today, and it occurred to me that we’ve managed to sling together a fairly decent whack of stuff on this here website in the way of submissions. Would anyone else be interested in (somehow) giving them the legal ability to publish some of our stuff in their sourcebooks? They can of course give us a credit (even if it’s something as small as the handle we post under here), but what better way to start generating an ongoing whisper-stream of current-events based stuff from the international occult underground?
I just thought the idea of a UA yearbook, with some of the content coming from the site, would be a really nifty way of keeping the game up to speed with the real world, and showing that the game has a real fan and support base.
Comments? Ideas? Rotten Tomatos?
Wire.
For some UA sourcebooks, we do an open submission call where anyone can submit material. The next time that happens, anyone is welcome to submit work that they’ve already posted to this site (or any other). Internet publication does not prohibit submitting that work to a UA sourcebook.
On the downside, it’s not likely to happen anytime soon. We have the next two books in hand already, and our schedule only calls for a couple books a year. I’d encourage everyone to put their energy into writing stuff for this site, and should we get to another sourcebook project that suits an open submission call, you’ll all be welcome to submit your stuff then.
You already have the next two books in hand. Cool. I’ve been out of the UA loop for a while so maybe I missed something but any hint as to what the next two book are?
Please?
The next book is Break Today. You can read about it now on the news page!
Heh I noticed that 🙂
Break Today will be mine the day it hits my local game shop. Already told the owner to be sure to order it and I will be bugging him constantly about between now and the time of its release
I was talking about after that.
The second book is a big cross-country campaign that prominently features Mak Attax, along with about everybody else under the sun. Greg Stolze is the author.
