Proxy and Tilt

    After reading that part of the book, it is still unclear in my head who could these and how they work?

    Hello all.

    It seems that proxies work in that you use a ritual to bind yourself to a person. For cosmic purposes that person is you and vice versa. Then when bad mojo happens you may roll and it gets dumped onto them or you can see through their eyes or lots of other good stuff. The downside is they can do this to you.

    With tilts you create your own ritual using symbolism and gestures to do somthing. And with them only people who have been in them can use them.

    Now my question is what happens to someone whose proxy ascends to the clegry?

    Serious brain-fry. If someone perfectly fits a specific idea that humanity as a whole holds dear and primal, and you’re linked to them when they FULLY become that, you’re going to have so much backlash… and your life is pretty much certain to contain more strange coincidences than EVER BEFORE, thanks to the strange connection. That, or maybe it gives you a chance to screw over the clergy member, take their place, and royally mess about with things, perhaps dooming mankind forever. Who knows?
