    I’d like to submit the following as something that any UA player/GM should watch…

    Monk.

    If you haven’t seen it (they just did a marathon of it on USA), it’s all about ‘impossible’ murders and this nutjob who solves them. Aren’t all dukes (and other PCs) nutjobs? Don’t they wind up with unusual ‘cases’?

    A few episodes of this has given me tons of ideas… even if there’s nothing magical about the show.

    I really enjoy it. Apparently, “Keen Eddie” has a lot in common along those themes, as well as having a lot of “unusual” characters. Also “Lucky” for the slightly more upbeat entropomancer.

    Monk is an outstanding show. Very funny, and their treatment of his OCDs varies nicely from hilarious to sympathetic.

    Good stuff.

    Plus, the mysteries are really neat, too. 🙂
