UAML problems?

    I presume something’s gone wrong with the UAML?

    I know there was the worm bombing.

    Any news when everything is up or current conditions?

    Seems dead since 22nd or so. At first the mailing list archives returned a 500 error now the host is not reachable 🙁 which is very sad I hope it returns, imagine the wealth of information in the archives simply gone because of a server crash ?

    And I have noticed how I come to depend on my daily dose of UA mails ….

    No idea, I’m afraid. I don’t actually remember who the UA list admin was — it’s been running fine for years now without intervention. I fear our complacency may have doomed us all!

    I have tried before to ‘wget’ some backup of the archives, because I am always afraid something like that may happen: but I failed. A simple wget doesn’t suffice for mailinglist archives in general ….

    but since the mailinglist is down I posted my weird dream on my blog. I believe when I dreamed that, my subconscious already knew something was wrong and that I was on withdrawal of my dose of daily ua-ness.
