Could someone with a copy of Postmodern Magick please give me a brief list of the criteria someone must meet in order to be channeled by Iconomancers? I know they’ve got to be dead, they’ve got to be famous, and they’ve got to have died after World War II. I would also guess that they have to be, for the most part, a positive figure, which would rule out, say, Hussein. Is this correct, and is there anything else I don’t know?
Must be held in high esteem…
Good. No friggin’ Anna Nicole Smith iconomancers.
WTF? 🙂
No smacktalking about the queen of white trash please! ANS is a goddess who made her own humiliation and complete disagreable position into a thing of envy some how and then when all else fails and she dies “mysteriously”(I mean c’mon the woman did methadone and painkillers how can that be seen as a “mysterious death”?)
I mean what do we have now? The crazy antics of former virgin-singer-dancer Britney Spears?
I mean tell me one more public figure who made her whole life through degrading herself and who can in such a fine way describe the dark side of western culture?
And the wierd part is that there is a need to make her death a conspiracy…
You gotta agree that her whole life could be described as “the life and death of a postmodern priestess” 🙂
rekyl.
WHOOOPS!
forgot the end of the sentence there… :9

she is both revered and despised, grieved for and ignored.
