UA on IRC

    Are there any Unknown Armies rooms on IRC? Either actively run games or chat channels?

    I’m starting a game on Wednesday nights (on the Darkmyst server). I’m also interested in joining a game on an off night if there are any active players/games.

    Are there any copyright issues regarding a UA-based, static chatroom? I’m looking into starting one with a few friends, with a built-in system that would be game-mechanics-friendly.

    also see the thread Looking for players, i mentioned MiRC and wanted to be involved. I Know some servers for gamers have coded “everyone sees” dice-rolling commands like !d10, or for larpers, !rps (rock paper scissors) any way to look for a d10/d100 one, or a way to simple code the command, you mIRC/IRC experts out there?

    Games like UA i find can be a lot better when played by good writers, and online you dont get sidetracked as much. And also, even with a large group of tabletop friends, its hard to get people to really committ to UA without coercing them into trying it, learning it, and thinking it.

    I dont have a lot of posts, and im new to the forum community, but I’ve used and loved this site for years, and would love to join in any internet chat game that meets my CST evening/late-night schedule (like most students/full-time workers who game).
