Knowing that non-entities are soulless, and the universe promptly erases them when it finds one – could a non-entity be possessed by a demon?
I’d figured it could go both ways. Demons can’t possess inanimate objects (other than humans whose souls they’ve permanently ousted), so there’s likely something special about the once-soul’d human vessel that a non-entity might not fit. On the other hand, if the universe sees an otherwise non-entity now inhabited by a soul (demon), it might just see it as a normal person and thus only erase it when not inhabited.
How about being filled by an unspeakable servant? Wonder if non-entities rot. Signs point to “no.” Not sure their corpses would still be around, though, after they died – so servants might not get a chance to inhabit their otherwise perfect human suits.
