1. Can an Avatar cast Significant rituals if he or she gets a charge? I.E. The Mystic Hermafrodite gets significant charges at high skill levels; and several minor rituals generate Significant charges; do an Avatars roll their skill as with Minor rituals?
2. Adepts can cast the Minor and Significant rituals, but do they need to learn them with XP as Thaumaturges do? The same question for Avatars
I’m away from my book, so I’m going from memory here, but since I don’t see any other responses…
1. Yes, absolutely. Since Avatar channels don’t require charges, significant rituals are the primary outlet for any significant charges an avatar might acquire. And they roll against their avatar skill. Similarly, they can roll against their avatar skill when using minor rituals, if they acquire and spend the appropriate minor charges; without the charges, they must roll against Soul-30.
2. Yes, they do. I can’t see any reason that learning rituals should be more expensive or harder for an expert ritualist than it is for practitioner of a completely different form of magick.
Actually, avatars can use minor rituals without spending any minor charges at all.
