Campaign help – Civil war within the Goddess and Ascension

Hi everyone –

i am running a game that should be reaching finishing up the end of one its main storylines in a few weeks. I focused on the players getting roped in to a civil war between Naked Goddess factions in Las Vegas. There is the main NG faction seeking to keep the status quo and one that seeks to remove the Goddess away from pornography and seek to reassert a figure of more purer roots. The image I had was one of strong religious devotion ala Michele Bachmann/vestigal virgin. They wanted to turn back women’s liberation, roe v wade, etc. It seemed more like a Avatar of the Mother v Goddess fight. i was trying to think of what would be good for an ascension bid as the climax of the game- symbolically i was going to have the group get the city of Vegas to no longer welcome the annual porn convention that occurred in January (to limit the charges the Naked Goddess people could get) and destroy Goddess tapes. Would a Michele Bachman conservative bent to the avatar of the mother work as an shift in how the avatar of the mother operates?
