    In real life, I wouldn’t go near a seance with a ten-yard pole. All the stories of possession start out with something “innocent” – a seance, a Ouija board, etc. No thank you.

    UA is a *game*. Trying to contact the dead in real life isn’t a good idea – you can never be sure who’s *really* on the other end of that line.

    Seances are either pretty mundane or very weird.

    As a note, whatever you contact (whatever it is) is a bad speller, don’t point this out. Don’t mention or ask anything specific about the afterlife or you’ll get the equivalent of a system crash with exploding glass.

    One user-friendly low-grade seance is to use Tarot cards. Bear in mind that each deck has it’s own personality, and you can take or leave what it has to say. Keep it light and they’ll respond to you lightly. Ask them something serious, be prepared for a serious answer. “You’re all just a deck of cards!”
