Basical I was wondering what everyone’s take was on Mechanomancers generating Minor charges by tinkering on their gizmos, and then using them on the Ritual of Correspondence. It strikes me as weird because I’d always assumed that those minors immediately got used up in the creation/modification of the gizmo. But do they? Or can a Mechanomancer spend a day tinkering and then store the charge?
Or do they have to convert a sig charge into ten minors then spend 2 on the ritual?
I don’t see a problem. A mechanomancer earns charges by building his automata and then typically spends them back into the work in progress.
I cdon’t see a problem with a mechanomancer who earns charges and stocks them up, burning some for rituals.

Considering that mechs only get 1 minor charge per day (as compared to the dozens you could potentially get with dispo- or oneiromancy), I’d almost say it was unfair. But then mechanomancers shouldn’t be pissing about with rituals anyway – they’re all based on medieval hogwash and superstition. The future is gleaming steel and cogs!
