This site is distributing a virus!

    I’m not sure if you guys have been hacked or not, but every time I load this site, A download window comes up with a file called “expl1_tank.wmf” from some server called “trust4free.ws”. I checked this out a bit, and it seems to be some sort of harvesting trojan. This is not being caused by spyware or somesuch on my PC, which is clean, and this site is specifically loading this each time. Do something about this, and, users, don’t download this file.

    Indeed our home page was somehow modified to include a frame referencing trust4free.ws. If the modification date on the file is correct, this just happened in the last 24 hours. I have corrected the home page and changed all the passwords.

    On further investigation, it appears this has happened to other customers of the web host that this site is on. I can’t find any information via Google as to what the intent is.

    I believe the site is fine for now. If you see this behavior again, please post in this thread right away — I am notified right away when new forum posts are made and will see the news.
