How long does it take to make a Significant or Major creation? For minors its obvious that you spent your days minor charges messing with something to achieve the end result. With the other two do they just poof into existence? What did people rule on it in their games?
I haven’t gotten the opportunity to run it yet, but I’d say each sig or major charge also has a day or so of work associated. It just feels right to me that all creations involve practical tinkering, though I can see the case for either “effectively” instant creation (less than an hour) or a few weeks of work.
I’d give a rule on the side of dramatic coolness. Want to race against the clock before Oswald’s Rifle is built into the ultimate assassin?
Then it takes a couple of weeks while the PCs race around europe for clues.
The PCs need a working replica of the cop their nemesis just killed to get them through customs? Three sleepless days slaving away in a hideout basement while la policia comb the area foe them.
Generally, I’d suggest a week for sigs and a month or so for majors.
Maybe allowing shorter creation time if you’re making something you’ve done before. (Better hope Rasputin had a LOT of rings.)
And at least a day for anything, as a baseline.
Yea, thats what i figured. My player of course thinks that rubbish as the rules doesn’t specifically say how long it should take and thus when he has the mojo it just appears. What is really funny is that hes perfectly understanding about weeks of repair time after his major creation had been damage by a Dermott death cult. All and all the game is coming to an end so i wont worry about it to much. Just seeing what other people said. So far Hotel and I and on the same page.
