Hello all !
Im a veteran role player and i havent played in almost a year, right now i got some free time, and i want to tell a great UA history… but im afraid of playing with the wrong players… my usual table is composed of guys that probably would love a playing the “Rambo RPG” if it ever hit the stores…
An i want a deep, emotional, with great characters history, so im trying to mix a bunch of new people with some harcore role players…
Any advice/idea/warning ?
It´s a bad idea to mix new with old ? it would better to have a veteran table ? or maybe a the oposite ?
Thanks in advance.
Look guys i know -i know- its annoying but i just found this site while looking for urbanomancy and blahblahblah I need someone to explain everything to me about Unknown Armies or at least point to some kind of newbie-guide.The only thing i know–> its an RPG game, everything else, a thick mist.

This might be tough, but I’d suggest trying to involve as many people as possible who have never played an RPG before, or are overly familiar with the cliches of the medium. Since they won’t have any expectations, you can lead by example much more effectively.
Easier said than done, I know, but look around on college campuses. Try to find English majors, Drama majors, someone from the social sciences.
