Fox has long been suspected of using its shows to mess with the occult. American Idol is the first step in getting Kelly, the winner, to Ascend as the Girl Next Door. I have no idea why they want to do it, but a buddy of mine who interned with Fox saw a bunch of memos that argued over her career. Each one had subjects like “Tragic Victim of Fame” or “The Exploited Innocent”. The only thing that the people sending the memos agreed on is that one day she’d “Put the purple on and perform on the big stage.”
