The King of Rock N’ Roll

Why do all rock stars die young?

I once heard tell of a group called the Kingsmen. They worship the King and every damn one of them is an Elvis impersonator. Evlis learned about the Invisible Clergy early on and pushed his way into the consciousness of the world. He’s ascended, or mighty close to it, you see, as the King of Rock N’ Roll archetype and he’s really defensive of his position.

The music industry being the way it is, every so often they pick a kid and prop him up as the next King. That’s when the Kingsmen move in on them. They make it look like an accident or set someone up, but it’s them everytime, all the way back to Richie Vallens, back before they picked up the impersonator schtick. Lennon, Hendrix, Cobain… Do I need to say more?
