To get the free charge, here’s what you have to do. You’ll need a friend, six or seven bucks and a car. If you’re ambitious, you’ll need a couple of other tools.
You can only perform the ritual once per day, but you can do it as many days as you want.
Step One: Find a local theatre within driving distance that is showing Intacto. Make sure it’s a theatre you’ve never been to. Do not read the address.
Step Two: Tell your friend to go to the theatre, and to save you a seat. They must go to the last matinee showing (usually around 4 – 5 pm). Tell them you will meet them inside and that they should NOT buy a ticket for you.
Step Three: Calculate how long it should take you to get to the movie theatre. Multiply that amount by .8 to calculate when you should actually leave. Thus you should give yourself 24 minutes for a half-hour trip or 48 for an hour. Leave the house giving yourself that much time.
Step Four: Drive like a maniac through traffic. Get to the theatre. Buy the ticket. Find your friend and sit down.
Ritual Complete: You will only get the charge if you arrive and sit down in the seat by your friend DURING THE LAST COMING ATTRACTION. If you arrive at any other preview, or after the film started or before the lights go down, you get nothing. You must watch the movie all the way through, but it is permissible to leave during the credits.
Finishing the ritual successfully will give the participant a minor Entropomancy charge. Consider it your free poker chip to try out (you can then go buy some lottery tickets like I did and win yourself some extra holiday gift money). It is possible to earn a significant and even a Major charge with this ritual. But, since I am not an Entropomancer, I wouldn’t suggest it.
