Soulless European Spies from the Future

You heard about Pim Fortuyn, right? That Dutch right-wing politician that got iced? Well that wasn’t any ordinary assassination.

Y’see, what was meant to happen was that about twenty years down the line old Pim was gonna become really powerful. Not just in the Netherlands, he was gonna stir up some anti-immigrant motivations across the whole continent, and become the European President.

Now, some idealist from the future manages to get a hold of a top-secret time travel machine. This guy supposed had his Muslim girlfriend deported or killed by the EU gestapo or something, so he hated old Pim. So he goes back to 2002 and shoots him.

Now nothing seems out of the ordinary to us, but this changes the entire future. And what’s more, the assassin wasn’t the only one back in our time. A bunch of supposed bodyguards, timecop types, were in Europe too. They lose their futures and should cease to exist by rights. But the universe is lazy, so it just wipes out their souls, and leaves their physical forms in place.

So now theres a bunch of non-entities with memories of a future thats never gonna happen. And they’re nuts, they crave those emotions they can’t feel anymore. They’re all running around trying to find some way of bringing old Pim back. They’re looking for cliomancers, entropomancers, even vidiots, anybody they think could do the job. They want to put the future back where they want it to be.

Yeah, thats bad shit. And they ain’t pussies, either, they got some advanced technology to play around with. But they also got some weird magick that ain’t even been invented yet. Dunno how many charges they got left though.

If they succeed, man, Europe’ll be in for some deep doodoo, if you know what I mean.
