Effect: A magickal Pentium 4 sticker, when applied to the outside case of a working computer, causes that computer to run as if there was a Pentium 4 processor installed within. This works on any sort of computer as long as the average person would look at it and say ‘thats a computer’. It’ll work on your crappy Celeron, your pink IMac, hell even a Babbage Difference engine. But it won’t do anything for your pocket calculator or your mobile phone.

One peculiar characteristic is that you can put the sticker on your computer, and the spell will work, even if there isn’t any other processor inside it. As long as everything else works, the phantom processor within will work just fine.

And yes, the sticker does work on clockworks. Sometimes.

Description: Your typical Pentium 4 sticker, a small rectangular shaped sticker about 1.5 centimetres wide and 2.5 centimetres long, with a blue ‘intel inside’ logo on a grey background, with the words ‘pentium 4’ in grey beneath it. Those with Aura sight or under the influence of UPS will notice that the intel inside logo is actually a small bloodshot eye that keeps looking around, mostly following movement. This is, of course, goddamn scary.

Note: No one knows how to make these damn things yet, but there’s a few of them floating around these days. They’re sure to be obsolete soon enough, but until then they’re reasonably sought after by people who can find uses for them.
