Real life beliefs

Ever have someone in your life “clued in”

My friend really believes that brain aneurisms are the Government taking out those who know too much. Anyone who looks at a website or finds out any little scrap of information that they should not something just pops in there brains. Now I always thought he was crazy but another buddy said, “What if he is just clued in to the underground?” What if. 

After a few minutes of thinking like that, I’m reminded of this guy I sat next to while watching House of 1000 Corpses, who stated, in no uncertain terms, he ‘knew stuff’ and was ‘marked for death by the Men in Black’. Apparently, he’d wanted to start sharing this aspect of his doubtlessly valuable intel with random moviegoers, and I fit the criteria just perfectly.

I stood up, after the movie, and fixed my tie, while staring at him, dead in the face. He’d found me on the one day in the year when I dress like a funeral director; all black suit. I simply smiled, and said,

    “… we know.”

His face tried to jump into six directions at once, and he ran like he was on fire.

Thakfully, I’d been able to hold off my laughter for a few valuable seconds.

    Paranoia is fun.
