Haddonfield, Illinois

It’s not on the maps…

Haddonfield, Illinois does exist, but you can’t find it on any map and no one beleives in it. It’s become just another piece of fiction. Charles Wozniak, a Chicago Cliomancer, found it back in ’83. Back in the day, he used to drive downstate every Halloween to charge up.

Halloween is the magick word. Maybe you remember Haddonfield now. Back in ’78, Haddonfield is where Michael Myers ascended into the Invisible Clergy, replacing Jack the Ripper as the Dark Stranger. According to Wozniak, the ascension twisted reality (similar to what it did with the Naked Goddess), and everybody forgot about Myers and Haddonfield. Myer’s legacy is the movie, but people think it’s just a slasher flick, not the truth. But Wozniak was onto something: people were thinking about Myers and Haddonfield, especially at Halloween; thinking about it enough that the town was charging up. Wozniak spent three years looking for Haddonfield before he found it, and was able to pull a major charge from it. He then pulled a significant charge from it every year until ‘88, when he was killed by a drunk driver.

And if Wozniak wasn’t lying, and Haddonfield actually exists, then it probably hasn’t been harvested since 1988.

First it was Freddy vs. Jason, now it’s going to be Haddonfield vs. New Oslo…

    The showdown starts…

OH NO! And I thougt the rumor dealt with something entirely else. I heard it was nothing more than a Personamancer trick trying to replicate hair growth due to the fact that The Shape was created from a manipulated William Shatner mask!
