A few dipsomancer spells for your magick pleasure

Jonny Aitchless has discovered a bunch of handwritten dipsomancy spells and they’re all yours for fifty bucks…

The Two-Beer Trick
Cost: 1minor charge
This spell only works after two beers and the second beer must be first to give a charge – the charge for the Two-Beer Trick. Once the effect goes off it remains until the dipper sobers or gets drunk – the drinker cannot keep the second drink effect stable – UA2 pg. 209.

While the Two-Beer Trick is in effect the Dipsomancer gains a +15% to all his Stats and a +10% shift to all skills. Remember that you still have to deduct the first –5% from impairment though. All the subsidiary attributes are increased too!

Two-Shooter-Six-Shooter
Cost: 5 minor charges
The Two-Shooter-Six-Shooter is a specialised Blast spell allows the dipper to use his Magick skill to roll instead of his relevant firearms’ skill when shooting guns – they actually just fire themselves! The obvious bonus is that the dipper doesn’t suffer impairment penalties when popping off the lead.

Legend has this that the notorious heavy drinking Doc Holiday came up with this spell. This is crap, the same guy that came up with The Two-Beer Trick, got muddled when drunkenly casting The-Two-Beer-Trick and a Lil’ Whammy together while shooting at by Skin Deck smugglers.

Yer Trippy… uh, Pretty…
Cost: 1 minor charge
This spell negates a boozehound’s impairment penalty on a roll that is an attempt to seduce someone the dipsomancer finds sexually attractive. Again, this spell only removes the penalty for any seduction-based checks – nothing else. The spell removes the target’s judgement filter for what it hears uttered from a drunken person. It doesn’t make them instant nymphomaniac porn stars.

The spell lasts until the Dipsomancer fails his seduction (no effect) or he sobers up (too late).

Chunderstorm
Cost: 2 minor charges
This formula makes the dipper to literally throw up his drink and his remaining charges for one round after casting. The dipper is now instantly sober, if not a little tender-headed. There might be some sort of minor Unnatural event if five or more minor charges get vomited up. A lost significant charge will throw up a significant event.

But if dipper drinks again within one hour, he immediately falls to the level of intoxication he was before casting Chunderstorm. He does gain a charge because of immediate intoxication, though.

You may cast this on other mages, they do get sick but only dippers lose their charges.

School of Knives
Cost: four minor charges
The Dipper can enchant a fistful of knives (or other sharp, pointy objects) that’ll fly around point first. The magician enchants a maximum of four knives plus one for every ten of the dipper’s magick roll.

The knives immediately fly off to stab themselves into target’s chosen by the dipper.

The knives attack with the Dipper’s magick skill for their initiative and attack skill. If they strike (with one skill check) they do H2H +3 for every flying knife.
