Magickal Empathy: Jonathan’s involvement with so many different types of Magickal effects has left him with a connection with the bending of reality. To use: Whenever a spell is used, Jonathan may make a roll vs. his Magickal Empathy skill. If successful, he can tell if magick is being used. If the roll is a critical, he can tell who used it.

Psychosis: Whenever Jonathan witnesses someone being shot in the head, he blacks out, usually for around 5 to 10 days. Although, longer periods have occurred before.

Story:
Jonathan was in connection with Daphne Lee even before the start of trigger event. She had noticed him from his appearances in certain porn films, and his occasional essays about the livelihood of other porn stars.
Jonathan was then thrown into a series of events involving Epideromancers, Entropomancers, and some other magickal people. His group of trusted friends included a certain man named Blade. Blade was a practicing hit man and trusted friend of Jonathan.
Jonathan was able to impress Daphne enough to make her train him in Pornomancy. During this time, he was involved in a plot to find a murderer and to retrieve certain items of importance. This lead him to be involved with the Underground.
Jonathan became entranced with the underground, and started to research lore as quickly as he could. Daphne soon noticed his addiction to the lore, and she told him to stop researching, and to realize that the Naked Goddess was the only thing that mattered in the Underground.
He moved to L.A. to avoid Daphne’s wrath, and joined a sect of pornomancers there. He was accompanied by Blade.
In L.A., Jonathan was able to learn more about the lore than ever, and soon became an expert, and a marked man by many figures due to his knowledge. He ran into a True King’s power line, which ruled 39th street, and was in several firefights with him, before Jonathan saw the True King get shot, and the bullet appearing in someone else’s head. Jonathan acquired his psychosis at that point.
Jonathan traveled to Europe for a while to search for more Naked Goddess artifacts, and during that time, Blade tried to save a friend from police custody, and in the process, killed 6 cops, but was later blamed for the deaths of 16 cops, and called a serial killer.
Blade went into hiding, and Jonathan came back to help him.
A Cliomancer named Wilbur came and told Blade that if he could retrieve a book, Wilbur could make everyone forget that Blade had murdered the cops.
Blade and Jonathan and a group of people quickly went to work to find this book.
The true intention of Wilbur was to actually use the book to retrieve a major charge from killing Blade.
After Wilbur got the book, he put a hit on Blade. Blade was seriously wounded, and put in the hospital. Jonathan raced to the hospital, and walked in as Wilbur killed Blade. Jonathan, pulled out his gun, and Wilbur began the ritual to get the major charge. Jonathan came up behind Wilbur, and shot him in the head. Jonathan blacked out.
While Jonathan was blacked out, he had a dream, and realized that his view of the Naked Goddess was wrong. He found that instead of reenacting scenes from the films, he had to have sex with her in reality.
He renounced Pornomancy, and gave himself a goal of finding her. He called this the “Path”.
When he woke up, he was in Florida in a car with a briefcase filled with 500,000 dollars cash, and a 15-year-old girl who claimed, “Jonathan was her guardian.”
He came to realize that she had run away with him, and had said she was his sister. He named her “the Puppy” and found that he wanted to protect her.
When Jonathan got back to L.A., he formed a party of new people using his money, and went off to find the Naked Goddess.
He had gotten some progress, before Daphne was able to contact him. He told her the truth, and Daphne told him that she would have him killed.
Jonathan traveled to Maine, to find the Naked goddess’s house, and while leaving, a group of cultists called “the Jinxes” burned down the house, and blamed it on Jonathan.
Jonathan found out that the house was a proxy, and was relieved, until he found out that Daphne had started to send Pornomancers to kill him.
Jonathan resorted to joining the TNI for protection, and began working for them, until he ran off from everyone, including the Puppy, to look for the Naked Goddess.
He vowed to kill Daphne Lee, and to find the Naked Goddess. He had become a Pilgrim.

Contacts:
His contacts include an odd mix of people.
He has an ally in L.A. who belongs to the Bloods, and will help protect Jonathan if he needs it.
He is friends with a Personamancer drag queen named Jo, who will help him with some spells if he asks for a favor.

Personality and current location:
Currently, Jonathan resides near Chicago in a derelict apartment that is protected by arcane rituals to wave of scrying spells, to hide his from someone.
His old friend William, who is a third rank avatar of the Warrior, is hunting him. His cause is to kill magick users. The major fault of William is that William has been hunting Jonathan for a year, but deep inside his mind, William loves Jonathan.
If anyone tries to look up Jonathan’s legal residence, they’ll find that it says that he is in a mental institution in L.A. Jonathan set this up, to help evade the police, and a certain German Bibliomancer.
When he does leave, it is either to visit the Puppy, or to further his search for Daphne and the Naked Goddess.

Jonathan has a cold personality. He is almost sociopath tic, and very paranoid. He packs a glock in a side holster, a revolver in an ankle holster, and keeps a switchblade in his pocket.
He usually will not talk to someone, unless he needs something from them, or if they address him first, and they talk about something that involves either magick, pornomancy, or the Naked Goddess.
When he does trust someone though, he becomes protective of them, to the point of being abusive.
Jonathan will openly tell someone knowledge about magickal lore, if they ask him politely enough, and if he can trust them.

Apperance: Jonathan is fairly good looking, but has a constant look of stress about him. His usually is smoking, and always looks jumpy. If Jonathan is spotted without a shirt on, his backside, from neck to bottom of thighs, is covered in burns. They were caused by a gas pipe explosion, which was the result of a Urbanomancer blast against Jonathan.

Plot Ideas for Jonathan:

If the party is in trouble with Daphne, Jonathan could come to aid them, and to harbor for a while.

A mysterious mission could be given to the party, that tells them to hunt down Jonathan in Chicago. Mission could be from either Daphne, or from William.

A square off with Jonathan could occur, if the party is trying to track down a copy of the Tape.

Has met the First and Last Man, but cannot remember it clearly enough, and considers it a lucid dream and vison.
