some ideas from the WCG…
First of all, the obvious thing – computer gaming was the newest tool of The Masterless Man to power himself up. Now, every dorky little boy is a hero, if not a multitude of different heroes. This was so until this endeavor was noticed by followers of other archetypes too, and now the fight for the virtual invisible clergy is heating up and everyone is trying to put his archetype into as many games as possible.
That’s why modern games are less about “tradional” all powerful, ever right and righteous evil smacking heroes.
Just wait until someone will ascend while gaming- or worse, until a computer game character will ascend!
One of the easiest paths to gain minor charges for infomancers is through computer games. All you have to do is change the game, warp it- just create a mod for the game and you have a steady supply of charges. Think of the lucky dude that created “Counter Strike”!
133t speech is a special language used to cypher messages- but from whom? Certainly not from ECHELON…
Actually, when i come to think about it- the computer is the biggest enemy of the bookworms, used by infomancers to show their obsoleteness. Every time you see a famous book on .pdf format, you see the decay of bibliomancy.
But all of this is minor compared to the fact that every time you log on, the modem steals a wee but of your essence- that’s what’s powering the net. wise dukes never log off.
and those dukes end up with buggy computers riddled with viruses.
