The Scotsman has been opening franchises inside of the #1 Retailer’s stores, but is not using Clown. They are using the orignal “Speedy” icon instead.
Combining the powerful ritualism that happens within Walton’s Five and Dime. Consider the power that would be generated when you have every employee in the world opening their day with the “W__-M___ Cheer”.
Is someone trying to combine the symbollic power of the two giants, trying to use the lay lines to pull the mojo from all over world?
And what about use of “Speedy”? A splinter Max organization? An effort to reduce the potency of the Clown’s image?
any other ideas?

what the hell?
I believe this definitely qualifies as a “Misc” subject.
Very, very “Misc”.
And, yes.. What the Hell?
True.
The big “W” is opening a large number of franchises within the UK subsidiary of the W*** M*** corporation. No clown, but none of this “speedy” over here.
However in Britain, all the stores whilst under previous ownership were in possession of large carved stones, one per store, proclaiming a commitment to value, quality and such. Now that WM has moved in, where are the stones?
Sweet Moses it’s 04:50. And still no sleep for me.
um, that didn’t clear up much. i’m guessing you’re talking about walmart and mcdonalds…? as for the scotsman, speedy, stones, walmart cheer, no clue.
Scotsman = the Mc in McDonalds.
Speedy McDonald was McDonalds’ first mascot, like Mayor McCheese only the hamburger head was done so the round part of the bun was in front like a smily face.
speedy sounds like something from “like a velvet glove cast in iron”.

That’s the W__-M____ Cheer, just a little daily ritual that they do at every store, every morning… just building up mojo man.
SQUIGGLY!!!!!!!!!!?! squiggly for Comte’s sake’s!
Obviously set up by someone or something called “The Customer”.
