Street Level Dukes – Scissor Sisters.

Britney and Michelle Moore are twin sisters, almost identical except that Michelle has short hair and has poor posture, holding her head low and slumping her shoulders. They both have black hair died blonde, wear gothic/biker outfits, and are approx 5’5 and underweight.
The other difference is that while Britney could talk Eskimos into buying freezers, Michelle doesn’t talk at all.

I will only give the basics here as I intend to describe their back story through the fiction ‘Sugar and spice and all things nice’ on this site.

Born in a sleepy Louisiana town, the girls were kept by their mother and father. Mother was a housewife, father was a mechanic. Britney’s earliest memory of him is watching him rev up a bike he had fixed. Michelle’s earliest memory of him is watching him climb on top of her, pulling off her night dress, and something painful.

Through childhood abuse they became devoted to each other, developing trust issues among other psychological issues. Britney blamed herself because she was never abused, only her sister. Michelle stopped talking to people.

They started cutting in order to be taken to hospital, away from their father, and here they began an interesting in nursing and healing. Sadly they were eventually returned home, but by then they had the early seeds of Epideromancy, blossoming into full adepts on the night that they murdered their father.

This led to their incarceration in a secure mental hospital for troubled girls (go watch the movie Girl, Interrupted) and through the medication, trauma and isolation they became true adepts, their fractal psyches embracing the world view of the sacred body.

A Sleeper agent approached them and explained the nature of magick and the underground. After this they were released and given jobs as trainee nurses to facilitate their rehabilitation into society.

The girls hit the street and racing scenes and this is where they blossomed into women, and Britney developed her social and driving skills. Michelle never really got over her trauma and when their mother returned, she regressed, slaying the woman in cold blood. After another spell in the psyche ward, a friend let them out, getting them new lives and jobs far away in Miami where they live today.

Summary: Twin sisters, street racers, fleshworkers. The Moore twins are absolutely and unbreakably in love with each other, in fact their fleeting psychological stability depends on it.

Personality: Britney uses her looks and charm to get by. She comes off as a bitch because she is extremely wary with strangers, and due to her relationship with Michelle she rarely makes solid bonds with other people. Michelle of course never speaks. She is very hateful and sour, and usually lets her sister do everything for her, preferring not to flirt or even smile for strangers. Michelle will resort to violence with little provocation.

Obsession: (Epideromancy) Being one with each other. It’s the world versus the Moore twins, but luckily they know a little trick where you stick a mental lever in the cosmos like *this* and you…

Notes/Items/Magick:
The girls ‘own’ a Mazda RX7 and a few changed of clothes. They have trainee nursing positions at a Miami hospital and a basic apartment. Between them they own a collection of 20 pairs of scissors of varying size and design.

Certain stats on the girl’s wounds and body have been raised using epideromancy, most of it done during the long and lonely incarceration in the mental hospital during their teen years.

Proxy: The girls are proxies of one another. Their skill should be 70+ but is limited to their Soul of 60. The proxy ritual that bound them was the act of murdering their abusive father, together, dressed and hair cut identically, using scissors taken from a child’s stationary set which were already stained with blood from self harming. They are bonded very closely by their mental insecurities and will never use the proxy status to hurt each other. Instead it gives them a kind of empathy, verging on telepathy, allowing them to guess what the other is thinking occasionally. It is also the foundation of their special magick:

Co-Dependant Epideromancy: The sisters are epideromancers for all intents and purposes with the following exceptions. One may charge the other by cutting/harming her, and they may allow each other (and only each other) to modify their appearance, pierce them, etc without it breaking taboo. They still may not heal damage done to gain charges. The flip side of this is that if one girl self harms, the other wants to. This is a compulsion as strong as an obsessive-compulsive’s need to do their little routines and they have to do it- the cuts don’t have to be identical but must be roughly the same place on the body and same damage. For this reason they will always have the same scarring and peircings (unless some non-self inflicted damage happens- if one gets shot the other doesn’t need to shoot herself). Trying to resist the compulsion is a rank 10 self check and being forced to not do it is a rank 10 helplessness check. For Michelle, failure on these checks will result in frenzy even if it kills her.

If you want to make them global level the additional stats would go on mind and soul for Britney and Body and Soul for Michelle. The bonus skill points would go into improving their proxy and magick skills, then on social for Britney and combat for Michelle.
