Minor Ritual

As all good mages know, the universe naturally tends towards threes, and some bad mages have occasionally found that evil doings come back threefold.

The opposite is entirely possible, and is even a way to make profit.

Take a one dollar bill or a similar coin, place it in an envelope.

Write on the envelope a good luck charm (anything from “Wishing you happiness” to “May Buddha Smile Upon You” will work, so long as its fairly meaningful to you. rule of thumb- something you would like to have said to you.) and leave the envelope somewherer partially hidden, where a person can find it by surprise. examples;

Between the pages of a paper on a newstand
In the doorframe in a public urinal
Under a stack of books in a bookstore.

This is minor so no need for using a charge unless you want to use your school to roll as usual.

The point is, someone will find it and have their day brightened up a bit. Within days or weeks, the money will find it’s way back to you: a pay bonus, finding some money, a store clerk making a mistake with your change, etc. It will be at least 3 dollars, maybe more. It may take weeks.

This may be possible with sigs or majors, it is unknown: the amount of cash would have to be significant like a 50 or 100 dollar bill, and the wait would be longer. Also, there is always the risk that the cash will not be found, but will simply be swept into the gutter etc.

Never stay to see who picks it up, or the magick fails.
