   I saw this article, but when I read the title I was thinking Egar Alan Poe and “Toaster” as in “A Toaster”. I’m almost disappointed I didn’t find a “Poe Toaster” here. 🙂

   I thought the same thing.

   I was hoping for the Poe-possessed toaster of E.A.P.

   Or a toaster that toasted toast with extracts from Poe’s greatest works (and some arcane texts that he never published, leading to the week were the characters (in montage) toast round of toast after round of toast trying to decipher the mysteries Poe toaster. Then the local baker tips off mental health services).

   It’s Poe’s doppleganger–Edgar Perry (the name Poe joined the army under). The double also goes under the name William Wilson.

   The double is dangerous. If trapped, he will cry, “tekeli-li” and then hell breaks loose.
