Something IS happening with the Child archetype. Children take on the trappings of adulthood very early. They always have, but it used to be a game, it used to be playing grown-up. Now it’s serious. Yet as a counter to this trend, we have this, a child (baby even!) forever, in mind, body and spirit.
Yep, something is going on.
My guess it’s the “Innocence Unsullied” cabal have selected this child as a target for that Thanatomancer spell that makes you a year younger, and keeps on casting it as part of the ascension war of the Child.
