Handed down generation to generation, these old rituals still have some mojo behind them
Thieftaker
Cost – 3 minor charges
Bury a blade used previously in hunting in snow for a night or let it lie in moonlight for a night.
Once you prepare your blade, carefully balance it on the tip of your left index finger and spend the charges.
Then start chanting the names of the suspects. If you hit the right one (the one who stole the thing you are thinking about), the blade will spin on your finger, and show the direction the perpetrator is at relative to you.
If there is no perpetrator in your list, the blade falls off to the floor and the spell fails.
You can use the same blade for another ritual if you are the only one who handles it.
Where IS My Loved One?
Cost – 2 minor charges
Take a sharp woodaxe (one used to fell at least one tree) and a small board of soft wood.
Chant the name of a person you are closely emotionally attached to three times, followed by “In the name of Perun-thunder, in the name of Jarilo-sun, show me where they are.” and proceed to hack the board to small pieces COMPLETELY. Casting these pieces on a white linen fabric while using the charges concludes the ritual – the pieces would spell out the nearest town or village your searched one is currently near.
