If he isn’t a godwalker, then he’s getting close.
This kid could be the avatar of the Masterless Man, or maybe the Highwayman? In any case, his recent violent behavior could be a response to an attack by the current office holder. Thoughts?

he is clearly channeling something. My guess would be the savage or something similar to it.. or perhaps there is an unknown avatar from a previous era associated with attacking civilization and/or total personal freedom
the bandit?
The Highwayman sounds about right. I suppose he’s trying to channel the archetype towards current fears of youth crime.
Possibly the Trickster, if his videos were somehow misleading about his actual location and/or identity.
The person who refers to Christopher McCandless in the article’s commentary is on to something. They seem fairly similar. The Unibomber, for that matter, also seemed to embrace that type of lifestyle.
I think that many of the UA’s archetypes are too specific or otherwise flawed, to be honest. (Which is part of the reason I quit working on some fan fiction I was writing for the game.)
I think the opposite. The archetypes are specific only for those who reach high levels of Avatar, and even then there is leeway in actions and personality. That, and since there can be up to 333 of them, it’s easy to make up a new one more or less on the spot.
