Future UA stuff?

Unknown Armies going forth in new hands, or rather everyone’s hands.

For those of you who care, there may be some hope for future material, but not in the way you may be expecting.
With Mr. Stolze and Mr. Tynes wrapped up in some very interesting projects and Atlas games cancelling any future books “indefinitely”, I and my legal support group have taken upon ourselves to enter into the first research stages of possibly buying or obtaining the Unknown Armies IP from Atlas games with the intention of releasing a series of free download only series consisting mainly of user material. Our main inspiration as far as style of distribution has been in the vein of “The Unspeakable Oath” magazine and similar monthly publications.
Clearly, this may all turn out to be so much hot air, given that we have only begun to test the waters of Atlas games and other possible owners to see if they would even entertain such an idea, which they may not.
Our intentions are purely philanthropic. We will never outright sell any material and at the worst we may decide to use kickstarter.com or similar services for the purpose of releasing. Like any good GM, this will be a labour of love.
I/we are EXTREMELY interested in knowing if anyone has any opinion or thoughts on the subject. Any advice would also be greatly appreciated.
AS a fair warning, we are not expecting to make any progress, other than very simple communication with Atlas, for at least a few months, but I promise to keep everyone who is interested informed.

Thanks for the goodwill. We had a small setback on our end today, hopefully it will smooth out and the process can steamroll ahead.

Good luck. Would be awesome if it worked out. My love of this game is unbroken, and I for one would eat up every new tidbit that is published for it, regardless by whom or how.

Er, according to the copyright notice in the front of the book, the IP is owned by Stolze, Tynes et al, not Atlas Games.
