Pornomancer Mystic and Seeker and Avatar of the Mystic Hermaphrodite

Jeremy Richardson was a young Mormon Missionary in Chicago when he first encountered the Sect of the Naked Goddess with his small group of fellow missionaries. Initially he got involved in trying to catalogue and save the poor souls of the Occult Underground, but the success rate didn’t go over very well, especially after an encounter with the Freak.

Jeremy never really fit in well with Mormonism. He was, on average, a nerdy guy who would rather be reading Lord of the Rings and listening to Rush then preaching the word of God. Something about the Sect changed that, at least giving him a God that didn’t intimidate him like the one of his fathers. After his group recovered a third-generation Naked Goddess tape, he felt for the first time what it would be like to know God, and what it would mean to be God, or at the very least be comforable in his own skin. The next day Jeremy defected to the Sect of the Naked Goddess, changed his name, and never looked back.

His transition has not been totally comfortable. On the one hand, Jay’s conversion brought out years of missionary training gave him an edge in finding converts, and he soon developed a knack for logically arguing the Sect’s beliefs (of a certain definition of logic, but still more coherent then most people in the Occult Underground). He has also proven himself to be a skilled researcher on the Naked Goddess, finding the set of her first porn shoot in a hotel room in Nevada. On the other hand, his devotion to the Naked Goddess is expressed in odd ways. He has started to adopt the mannerisms of the Naked Goddess, including acting as her in Sect rituals. This has alienated him from more.. restrained members of the Sect. He is protected, so far, by Daphne Lee, who sees his theological and relic finding skills useful. She is wary of his growing influence in the sect, worried he may cause another split.

These days, Jay spends most of his time following leads about the Naked Goddess, as well as looking for the Naked Goddess Tape. He is also, secretly, on another quest for the Naked Goddess. Having encountered several Avatars, he has started wondering where exactly the Naked Goddess Avatars are. He has begun following up leads on anyone who sounds like they may be channeling the Naked Goddess. What he intends to do with an Avatar of the Naked Goddess is unknown, even to him.

Personality: The Percival of Porn. Jay is driven by a spiritual need to know the divine in the form of the Naked Goddess.
Obsession: The Naked Goddess. Jay wants to simultaneously become and bed Her, and in so doing attain somekind of orgasmic nirvana.

Rage Stimulus: People disrespecting the Naked Goddess, particularly his interpretation of the Naked Goddess.
Fear Stimulus: (The Unnatural) Epideomancers. Jay dosen’t like the sound of these guys. Since he’s heard what the Freak does to people who start to get to close to becoming Godwalker of the Mystical Hermaphrodite, he has become even more nervous.
Noble Stimulus: Spreading and living the teachings of the Naked Goddess.
