Guidelines for unconciousness through wounds

Guidelines to handle losing conciousness because of wounds.

I always thought that UA lacked rules for unconciousness because of wounds. So I decided to make some guidelines.

Although I choose a more narrative and less rule based approach in puncto unconciousness I also like to have guidelines to follow in cases where the action is high.

Without further ado the rules:

If the character is in the wound point spectrum where he gets the -10% shift she also has to make a body roll (to which the -10% shift of cource applies) for every damage she gets which is 5 or greater.
There can be a positive shift through the Keeping It Together skill (see below).

If the character is in the wound point spectrum where she gets the -20% shift it is as explained above with the addition that now she has to make the body roll for any damage no matter how great.

New skill:
Keeping It Together
Whenever you have to make a roll to stay concious you can make a roll in this skill beforehand.
The sum of the dices gives you the shift you get for the body roll:
2-6: +10%
7-9: +20%
10+: +30%
Alternatively you can say that they can make the roll to stay conciousness with this skill (which is because of the negative shift rules because of wounds still an advantage to have this skill).
Another atlernative is to a roll in this skill before each roll and a sucsess means the wound penatly doesn’t apply for said roll.
